The album is of probable New York or New England origin. The photographs show members of an extended family charmingly posed either in groups or singly, in and around their suburban home and garden, or on outings to nearby streams, the presence of American flags in some of the images suggest they were taken on the Fourth of July. Family members are depicted with their various wheeled vehicles, wagons, buggies, bicycles, and one young boy in a wagon pulled by a goat.
