Manuscript cookbook with several medical and dye recipes, an anonymous receipt book, the only clue to a locale of origin is a note after a recipe for "bluing" which reads "Mrs. Derrans Latimer Weatogue Connecticut." Other recipes state: "Mrs. Harrington's Loaf Cake," and "Miss Weston ginger bread."
