First edition of this tract intended to encourage settlement in Ohio. A scarce pamphlet, written in Welsh and published in Wales, by Chidlaw who himself had emigrated from Wales to Ohio. The pamphlet describes his trip from Ohio to Wales, gives a history of the Welsh settlements in Ohio, and offers advice to those seeking to emigrate to America. The work also discusses Mordaith, Ohio, Llywodraeth, Ysgolion, Crfydd, Paddy's Run, Radnor, Newark in the Welsh Hills, Colombus, Cincinnati, Owl Creek, Palmyra, Galiaa Jackson, Putnam a Vanwert, Utica, Deerfield, Ffloyd, Steuben, Dinas New York, Pittsburg, Ebensburg, Pottsville, Mississippi.

Coyle, Ohio Authors, p. 115; Eberstadt 136:516; Graff 692; Streeter Sale 1377; not in Howes, Buck, Rusk, Sabin or Thomson. Streeter in his note, (Vol. III, 1377) believed the pamphlet to be unrecorded, as of 1967.
