A rare work by Moore on the regulation of the village of Greenwich and the revision of the grid of New York City. Moore is opposed to it and argues his case with a number of interesting details. He is against "the leveling of some of the beautiful eminences which adorned the suburbs a few years ago" and states that "these are men who would have cut down the seven hills of Rome."
